Hamburger and Hamilton Stage 5

HH05- (early) Notochord (head-process) is longer than it is wide.
The pit at the centre of Hensen's node starts to elongate.
HH05 (19-22 hours).
Notochord (head-process) is visible as a rod of mesoderm extending forwards from Hensen's node.
Prechordal mesendoderm may be visible as a small triangular V-Shape at the anterior end of the notochord (head process).
Hensen's node and pit appear slightly elongated.
Streak regresssion has not yet begun.
No head fold or somites.
