Mission Statement

It is our mission at ECA:

1. To produce 3D models of Chick development to ECAGE so insitu data can be spatially mapped and integrated
2. To show clear defined links between anatomy ontologies that can be integrated to ECAP and other atlas databases
3. To demonstrate a clear role in the use of computational advancement and biological systems analysis

The e-Chick Atlas is available to whole Developmental Biology community in order to:

1. increase knowledge on gene expression
2. provide a common framework facilitating sharing of data
3. cross-gene and cross-species comparisons and
4. improve knowledge on embryonic anatomy and function.
